Senior OH Melanie Gildea had 23 kills!, 3 aces, 10 digs; senior setter Cathryn Leighton had 41 assists!, 2 kills, 1 block and 6 digs; senior libero Sam Berenson had 26 digs, 1 ace and strong serve receive passing; senior middle blocker Kate Powers added 8 kills, 2 blocks and 1 ace.
Hopkinton is 4-0 overall, 3-0 in TVL , and plays Ashland Friday at home.
Field Hockey
-Hopkinton dropped a non-league game to Weston 2-0
Sophomore, Coco Curran netted a pair of goals for Weston. Hopkinton falls to 0-2-1 on the season.
Girls Soccer
-Dover-Sherborn defeats Bellingham 6-0
Dover-Sherborn improves to 3-0-1 on the season, Bellingham falls to 1-4-0. Junior, Waverly Sumner had multiple goals for Dover-Sherborn
-Hopkinton defeats Ashland 4-0 on the road
The Hillers improved to 3 and 1 on the season, Ashland fell to 0-3-1. Liz Herlihy got the shutout in net.
Boys Soccer
-Dover-Sherborn defeats Bellingham 1-0
Dover-Sherborn improved to 1-3-0 with the win, Bellingham fell to 1-4-0. Goaltender, Matt Charron had the shutout in net for DS. Senior Captain, Connor Keating had the lone-goal.
Cross Country
-Hopkinton defeats Norwood 16-45
The Hopkinton boys picked up an opening day win over Norwood. Craig Salois won in 17:11, followed by Ben Scott 17:30, Wyatt Ruff 17:35, Jake Lacoche 17:35 and Lex Kaye in 18:20!!
-Westwood defeats Ashland
Westwood Boys and Girls teams improve to 2 and 0, Ashland falls to 0-2.

Girls XC opened the season with a dominant performance in a 15-50 victory at Norwood. Autumn Tumbleton, Katie Callery & Grace Joy led the way for the Hillers while Bethel Flanagan, Kayla Sawyer, Avery Sawyer, Kate Beauvais and Lily Buckley were the next 5 finishers!! #gohillers
