On Friday September 25th, the Medfield Warriors visited the Millis Mohawks in the TVL Sports Net game of the week as voted by our followers! Medfield defeated Millis via a 32-0 shutout with a tremendous all around team effort. Medfield improved to 3 and 0, Millis/Norfolk fell to 1 and 2 on the season.

Following a Medfield fumble recovery and a couple of big offensive plays, Medfield Captain & QB #8 Owen Sokolowski (SR) rushed in from about 11 yards out to make the game a 6-0 Warriors lead at 8:17 left in the 1st quarter, the extra point was no good.

The Medfield defense continued to shut down the Millis offense and the Warriors would strike again a little less than five minutes of game-clock later. Following a 26 yard keeper by Medfield QB Owen Sokolowski, the Senior QB followed up with a 23-yard keeper for a touchdown at 3:36 left to play in the 1st quarter to make it a 12-0 game. Sokolowski then followed up with a 2-point conversion keeper and made it a 14-0 Medfield lead.
Medfield continued their 1st quarter rally after a rapid shutdown of the following Millis offensive drive forcing a quick 3 and out for the punt. Junior RB #1 Will Keaveney set up another redzone opportunity for the Warriors after a 25 yard run to put Medfield at the Millis 20 yard-line. Keaveney capped off the quick Medfield drive up field with a 9-yard touchdown run to make it a 21-0 game following the #24 Ethan Ambrose (SO) extra point and that score remained into the halftime break and until the 4th quarter.

After a defensive shutout 3rd quarter by both teams, Medfield got the offense rolling once again late in the 3rd quarter. A big run by #24 Ethan Ambrose (SO) set up the Warriors at the Millis 7 yard line to begin the 4th quarter. The Millis defense was able to hold Medfield to a field goal, an unlisted #84 for Medfield booted the 23-yard field goal to make it a 24-0 game at 8:23 remaining.
Following the Warriors field goal, the Medfield defense continued to shutdown Millis and forced another Mohawks punt and a huge run during the following drive by #4 Lucas Sullivan (JR) set up Medfield at the Millis 6 yard line. Medfield capped off the drive with a touchdown connection between #8 QB Owen Sokolowski & #4 WR Lucas Sullivan for a 7-yard touchdown reception which was followed by a successful 2-point conversion play-action keeper by Sokolowski to make it a 32-0 game and that would be the last score of the dominant Medfield win!
Medfield Warriors improve to 3 and 0, Millis/Norfolk Aggie co-op falls to 1 and 2 on the season.
