-Girls Hockey: D2 State Finals – #13 Medfield defeats #6 Milton 3-0
Medfield Girls hockey took the shutout 3-0 win over Milton in the D2 State Championship. Milton ends their season 20-4-2, Medfield finishes theirs with their 1st ever state title and a record of 16-7-2. Senior captain Maeve Kelly struck for the 1st goal of the game under 90 seconds in at 13:42 left in the 1st period, Junior captain, Genna McDonald struck at 4:44 left in the 2nd period and Freshman Anne Flippo capped off the scoring with an empty-netter at 45 seconds left in regulation. Junior Goaltender, Kamryn Perachi racked up her 3rd shutout performance of the post season and made some incredible saves versus a very potent and talented Milton offense.
