For the first time since 2006, Medfield Warriors Field Hockey is heading to the Division 3 State Tournament Elite 8! The #4 seeded Warriors captured a 3-1 Round of 16 win over #13 seeded Pentucket to advance to the quarterfinals round. In the Win, Maeve Kelly (SR) netted 2 goals for the Warriors and Ali O’ Connell (SO) contributed a score. Annie Fratolillo (SO), Alana Dolan (JR) and Cecelia Crosby (JR) contributed assists for Medfield.
Medfield improved to 15 wins, 2 losses and 2 ties with the win, Pentucket ends their season 9-6-4. Medfield will next host #12 Medway Mustangs (7-9-2) in a TVL-themed Round of 8 matchup on Saturday, November 9th at 4pm at Medfield High School.
