The #1 seeded, Norton Lancers (20-1) took on #9 seeded Archbishop Williams (15-6) in the quarterfinals of the MIAA South Division 2 Bracket. The game was a pitchers dual between Norton Sophomore, Kelly Nelson and Archbishop Williams Junior, Kyleigh O’ Donnell. Kelly Nelson pitched all 12 innings and gave up 1 run on 11 hits. Archbishop Williams scored the first run of the game on the top of the 12th and took a 1-0 lead. In the bottom of the inning, Sophomore, Olivia Pietersen drove in 2 runs on a 2 out, game winning hit to help the Lancers to a walk-off victory in the 12th inning.
