Stephen Simoes and Ryan Kester both score a pair of runs in the Hillers victory. Cole Glassburn pitched 3 scoreless innings to earn the save. Hopkinton plated 5 runs in the bottom of the 6th. Hillers start off 1-0, Holliston 0-1.

-Norton wins season opener 10 to 2 over Millis
Norton’s starting pitcher Tinkham pitches a complete game in season opening victory for the Lancers. Millis falls to 0 and 2.
Softball:
-Hopkinton Mercies Holliston in 25-5, 5 inning victory
Hopkinton plated 12 runs in the 1st inning and took down Holliston by way of the mercy. The Hillers improve to 1 and 0 on the season, Holliston falls to 0 and 2. Tara Kester (3-5, 3R, 2 RBI’s), Katy Holly (4-5, 4R, 7 RBI’s), Alyssa McIntire (3-5, 3R), Jordyn Cheverie (2-3, 2R, 2 RBI’s), Bella Onsi (3-4, 2R, 7 RBI’s), Emily Whelan (4-4, 4R), Jillian Ceddia (4-4, 4R, 3 RBI’s).
-Medway takes down Dedham 6 to 1

Hillers senior captain, Lydia Rudden surpassed 200 career points in the Hillers victory. Hopkinton improves to 2 and 1 on the season, Ashland falls to 0 and 2. Lydia Rudden now has 138 career goals and 73 assists.
-Westwood defeated Medfield 19 to 5
Westwood improved to 2 and 1 with the victory. Medfield falls to 1 and 2.
