#2 Medfield Girls Lacrosse defeated #8 Cohasset 12 to 9 in the Division 3 State Championship at Babson College Tuesday Night (6/21) to capture the Division 3 State Championship. Medfield captures their second title in school history and first title since winning the Division 2 state title in 2012.

Cohasset led 6 to 5 at the half but Sophomore, Kelly Blake lit up the scoreboard in the 2nd half adding 5 goals in the half for the Warriors and proved to be too much to handle for Cohasset. Kelly Blake netted 7 goals overall and helped lead her team to the D3 State Championship title. Junior, Alex Blake also netted 3 goals in the victory. Also adding 1 goal each for Medfield was senior, Kerry White and Sophomore, Alexandra Proefrock.
