After Dover-Sherborn’s win in the boys D3 state championship, the Medfield Girls were trying to capture another State championship for a TVL team.. 2nd seeded Medfield came into the game with a 17-3-2 record and they hosted #4th seeded Nipmuc Warriors who came in with a record of 20-1-1 at Worcester State University and the game was intense, physical and featured a lot of action.
Nipmuc hangs on for the 1-0 win and captures the D3 State Championship. Medfield finishes their incredible season 17-4-2, The Nipmuc Warriors capture their first D3 state title since 2014 and finishes 21-1-1.
