TVL Girls Volleyball News & Notes September 29th 2023

-Hopkinton defeats Bellingham 3 to 2
Hopkinton took down Bellingham 3 sets to 2 in Bellingham. Hopkinton improves to 7 and 2, winning their 3rd straight while Bellingham lost their 2nd straight and fell to 8 and 2 on the season. Contributors for the Hillers included; “Adriana Aquino with 20 kills, Evie Woodbury with strong defense and Sofiah Wightman Kraus had 4 blocks!” (Via @HillerAthletics).. Hopkinton currently ranks #11 in the D2 bracket, Bellingham ranks #2 in the D4 bracket.

-Medfield defeats Norton 3 to 0
Medfield Warriors won their 2nd straight as they took down Norton via sweep. Medfield is now 9 and 1 overall and at the top of the TVL Large. Medfield currently ranks #3 in the state D3 bracket. Norton falls to 3 and 7 and ranks #32 in the D3 bracket. The top 32 automatically make the postseason..

-Holliston defeats Millis 3 to 1
Holliston Panthers took down Millis for their 5th straight win and improves to 7 and 2 on the season. Millis falls to 3 and 6 overall. Holliston currently ranks #7 in the MIAA D3 state rankings, Millis ranks #16 in the D5 state rankings.
