#3 Medway Girls fall to #2 Groton Dunstable in Central D2 Sectional Semi-Finals 43-35
After defeating Doherty 65-34 on Thursday Feb 28th, the Mustangs fell to 2nd seeded Groton Dunstable on Tuesday March 5th in the semi-finals at Clark University. Rachel Costello dropped a team-high 14 points in the loss. Medway finishes their season at 15 wins and 8 losses. Groton-Dunstable (17-5) advances to take on Nashoba in the Central D2 sectional finals.

#2 Medway Boys defeat #3 Groton-Dunstable in Sectional Semi-Finals 52-43
After defeating #7 Burncoat on Wednesday Feb 27th 67-32, the Mustangs took care of 3rd seeded Groton Dunstable in a back end of a rare Medway/Groton Dunstable Girls-Boys doubleheader at Clark University on Tuesday March 5th. Junior, Drew Plunkett dropped 15 points and knocked down 6 straight free throws towards the end of the game to secure the victory. Medway (19-4) advances to take on 1st seeded Westboro (18-3) in the sectional finals on Saturday March 9th 11:45am at Worcester State University.
#6 Dover-Sherborn Boys Move to Sectional Finals after 45-40 win over #7 Sutton
6th seeded Dover-Sherborn won their 3rd straight playoff game on Tuesday March 5th over #7 Sutton. Dover-Sherborn defeated 11th seeded Uxbridge 52-34 in the 1st round, 3rd seeded Whitinsville Christian 43-28 in the 2nd round and 7th seeded Sutton 45-40 in Semi’s. Senior, Brett Stark scored a team high 12 points versus Sutton. Dover-Sherborn (18-5) will take on 1st seeded Hudson (22-1) in the D3 Central Sectional Finals on Saturday March 9th 3:15pm at Worcester State Univsersity.

1st Seeded Canton Ends 5th Seeded Norwood’s season with 6-1 Win
Canton improved to 22-0-1 overall with a 6-1 win on Tuesday March 5th in the D2 South Sectional Semi-Finals at Gallo Arena. Norwood wraps up a tremendous season with a record of 13-4-6. Norwood defeated #12 Scituate and #13 North Attleboro before falling to Canton in the post-season.
#3 Westwood advances to D2 Central Sectional Finals with 3-2 win over #7 Medfield
3rd seeded Westwood (16-1-6) took down 7th seeded Medfield (13-5-5) in an all TVL Sectional Semi-Finals matchup at Gallo Arena Tuesday night. Senior, Matt Hetnick scored what ended up being the final goal of the game on a power play with 6 minutes left to play in the 2nd period. Westwood next takes on 1st seeded Canton at Gallo Arena in the D2 South Sectional Finals, Sunday March 10th at 1pm!
