For the first time since 1978, both the Norwood Girls and Boys Basketball teams are heading to the State Championship!!
-#7 Norwood Boys Basketball defeats #3 Burlington 69-66 in over-time to advance to Division 2 State Championship.
#7 Norwood will take on #1 Malden Catholic at the Tsongas Center at 4pm on Saturday, March 19th! Both teams are 21 and 2 overall on the season.
-#1 Norwood Girls Basketball defeats #5 Whitman-Hanson 51 to 46 to advance to Division 2 State Championship.
Norwood stays perfect improving to 24 and 0 on the season. Senior, Megan Olbrys dropped a team-leading 18 points in the semi-finals game. Norwood will try to complete the perfect season on Saturday March 19th at 6pm when they take on #3 Oliver Ames (21-3) at the Tsongas Center.
