Norwood Football takes down Stoughton in 2024-25 Season & Home Opener 28-0!

Under the Friday night lights on season opening night (September 6th), the Norwood Mustangs took down the Stoughton Black Knights out of the Hockomock League in Week 1 of the 2024-25 season at Norwood Highschool 28 to 0. Norwood Community Media interviewed Captain & Running Back, Jack Dwyer following the victory, view the interview below!

Norwood (1-0) next heads to Canton High School to take on another Hockomock league opponent, the Canton Bulldogs (1-0) on Friday, September 13th at 6:30pm. Canton opened their regular season with a 28-16 road win over the Holliston Panthers at Kamitian Field on Friday night.

Norwood fell to Burlington 34-21 last year (2023-24) in the D4 State Tournament, Round of 16 and finished the season with 7 wins and 4 losses. Norwood capped off their season last year with a 15-12 thanksgiving day win at home versus Dedham.
