-Baseball: Norton defeats Medfield 5 to 3 (May 8th 2026)
Norton improves to 6 and 9, Medfield falls to 9 and 6. The Lancers plated a run in the bottom of the 1st on a Logan Irish single which scored Jack Regan. It remained a 1-0 game until the bottom of the 2nd when the Lancers got the bats going once again, with 2 outs and bases loaded, Adam Caldwell hit a rope into centerfield which scored John Salem & Quint Perry to make it a 3-0 Lancers lead. Ben Price followed with a single to score Chas Magri and make it 4 to 0. Norton added what would be their final run of the game in the bottom of the 3rd when a Medfield error allowed DJ Compagnone to reach & John Salem to score the Lancers 5th run of the game and proved to be more than enough to take the senior day win for the Norton Lancers.
Ben Price pitched 6 very solid innings for the Lancers giving up 9 Hits, 3 Runs (3ER) & struck out 10 hitters. Logan Irish pitched a one-two-three 7th inning and struck out 2 hitters.
