By: Travis Taliaferro – Medfield Head Coach At the halfway point of what has been a very rainy season so far, the Tri-Valley League has had a very exciting start to the 2016 season. We have had several excellent performances, walkoff victories, and several teams in the hunt for a playoff spot.
In the MIAA South Division 2 Softball Playoffs, the 1st seeded Norton Lancers shutout #16 seeded Pembroke 6-0. Sophomore, Kelly Nelson pitched her 14th shutout of the season and struck out 14 hitters in the game. Nelson also went 2-4 at the plate with 2 RBI’s.
