This past Friday (9/20), Medfield Football picked up their first win of the season and spoiled Hopkinton’s home opener with a 21-7 win. Medfield is now (1-1) on the season, Hopkinton falls to (0-2).
In the first half, Medfield dominated holding Hopkinton to just 49 yards of offensive production while the Warriors offense accrued 139 yards of offense and strung together 2 lengthy touchdown drives. WR/DB/K Brady McCormack (JR) was the star of the game racking up over 100 yards rushing including a pair of touchdowns. In addition McCormack was involved in several defensive stops and successfully kicked 2 extra-point attempts.
0 and 2 Hopkinton will next be on the road at Newton South on Friday, Sept 27th for a 6:30pm kickoff. Also that Friday (9/27), 1 and 1 Medfield will look to continue their success at Dracut High School, kickoff for the Warriors VS Dracut is 7pm!
