This past Sunday morning, #5 seeded Dover-Sherborn/Weston Blue-Raiders defeated #6 seeded Hanover at the TD Garden in Boston by a final of 5 to 1 and claimed the Division 4 State Championship Title! Dover-Sherborn/Weston finishes their championship title season with a record of 21 wins and 4 losses. Hanover finishes 15 and 10 overall. This was the 1st State Title for DS/Weston in program history!
In the game, Hanover led 1-0 after the 1st period but it would be all Dover-Sherborn after that. The Blue-Raiders netted 3 goals in the 2nd period and added another pair of goals in the 3rd period. Max Niit (SR) netted 2 goals, Hunter Hourihan (JR), Christos Rogaris (FR) and Max Petenaude (SO) each netted a goal each in the championship victory.
