Dover-Sherborn Boys and Girls Soccer Sweep Double Header

On Thursday Night Dover-Sherborn Girls and Boys Soccer got big wins against Hopkinton in a Boys-Girls Doubleheader.

The night started off with the Boys taking down Hopkinton 3-1. Sophomore, Jon Muckstadt scored the first goal early in the 1st half. In the 2nd half, Junior, Corey Chapman added another goal for D-S to make it 2-0. Hillers responded with a goal shortly after but Senior, George Chaudoin added a goal with 18:41 remaining to put the game out of reach for the Hillers.

Dover-Sherborn Boys improved to 7-1-2 (16 points) on the season, while the Hillers fell to 4-6-1 (9 Points). Next up for Dover-Sherborn is a trip to Norton on Tuesday 10/11 for a 3:30 start, while the Hillers are on the road for a 6:45 start against Medfield 10/11 as part of a Girls-Boys doubleheader.

The Dover-Sherborn Girls defeated Hopkinton 2-1. The game was tied at 1 late in the 2nd half until Senior, Leah Balmer netted the go-ahead goal with 12 minutes left to play. The Dover-Sherborn Girls improved to 6-4-2 (14 Points) on the season while the Hillers fell to 2-5-4 (8 Points).

Dover-Sherborn Girls get some time off before a road match-up with Medfield on Friday 10/14 at 5:30pm. The Hillers girls next game is against Medfield on Tuesday 10/11 on the road at 5pm as part of a girls-boys doubleheader.
