-Medway has won 3 straight at Bellingham (last loss 2007)
-The last two games have been decided by a total of 3 points (2 & 1 respectively)
Last time they met: October 7th, 2016
Bellingham won a low scoring duel by a final of 8-7 on the road at Medway. It was the 4th lowest point total allowed by Medway (three shutouts to end season) & the 3rd lowest point total scored by Bellingham. The 7 points allowed by Bellingham was tied for their fewest points allowed in a game.

Scouting the Blackhawks
Bellingham completes their season opening three game home-stand against TVL foe Medway. The Blackhawks beat Blackstone-Millville 20-18 in their season opener and topped Bishop Stang by a 42-21 final last week. In that game, QB Jim Kilbuff connected with Jake Prophet for 5 TDs. Kilbuff also rushed for a TD in the victory, which improved the Blackhawks record to 2-0 on the year. This is the second consecutive year that the Blackhawks have started 2-0. Prior to last year, they hadn’t started 2-0 since 2007.

Meeting the Mustangs
Medway is off to an 0-2 start to 2017. They fell to Norton in Week 1 at home by a 27-19 final & got shutout in Hopkinton last week, 42-0. This is the second consecutive 0-2 start for Medway. They are 1-13 in games prior to the MIAA Playoffs/Non-Playoffs over the last two seasons. That lone win was over Bellingham on 09/18/15. Medway did manage to win their final four games of 2016, blanking the final three opponents. The Mustangs entered 2017 hoping to build on that but their 0-2 start hasn’t helped.

Up Next
Both teams play on Thursday night. Bellingham hits the road for the first time this season when they travel to Ashland at 7pm and Medway hosts Thanksgiving rival Millis at 7pm.
