Ashland Clockers Girls Lacrosse gets Big Wins & achieves Big Landmarks!

On Thursday May 14th, Ashland Clockers Girls Lacrosse picked up a huge 13 to 6 win over Holliston following up with a massive 11 to 9 win over Norwood on Wednesday May 13th. The Clockers are now 8 and 6 and one win away from clinching a state tournament spot regardless of their ranking. Currently Ashland is ranked #33 in the Division 2 state tournament rankings. The Clockers need to close out the season with 9 wins or crack the top 32 in order to clinch a State Tournament spot.

The next MIAA rankings will be released Friday (May 15th) and following 2 HUGE Clockers divisional wins over Norwood & Holliston, it is very likely the crack the playoff bound top 32 ranking. Ashland has a gritty Dedham and a very tough Westwood team coming up to close out regular season play and they could clinch a spot with a win in either game and even if they lost both, they have put themselves in a very probable state tournament position thanks to their 2 huge TVL Large wins over the past week.

During the very impressive wins, incredible landmarks were clinched!!! Senior, Lili Vitti reached 200 career points vs Norwood on Wednesday and Junior, Payten Tripp recently achieved 100 career points vs Holliston on Thursday!
