-Hillers defeat Medfield 5 to 4 (April 8th 2026)
The first runs were scored by Hopkinton in the bottom of the 2nd. Connor Moore tripled to score Trevor Hodne, Ryan Lang followed up with a single to score Moore and Lang would score on an error to make it a 3-0 game.
Medfield struck back with a pair of runs in the Top of the 3rd, CJ Herrick scored on an error, Connor Hanna would score on another error the next play to make it a 3-2 game.
Hillers added a run in the bottom of the 3rd, Michael Sullivan hit a long triple to score Andrew Beauchemin to make it a 4-2 game.
In the top of the 4th, Jack Folan scored a run for Medfield following a Wild Pitch to make it a 4-3 game. Medfield tied the game at 4-4 in the top of the 5th with an RBI single by Charlie Hurley which scored Connor Hanna.
The game remained tied 4-4 until the bottom of the 6th inning when a long Andrew Beauchemin single would score Gabe Cafazzo and put the Hillers up 5 to 4. Matt Pedroli took over on the mound in the top of the 7th and after giving up a 2 out double to Medfield’s Jack Folan, Pedroli would strike out the next hitter to earn his 3rd out and 3rd strikeout of the inning which secured the win for the Hillers.
Hopkinton improves to 3 and 2 on the season, Medfield falls to 2 and 1.
