On Saturday (6/3) the Hopkinton Hillers Softball team took down Dartmouth 2-1. The Hillers scored their only 2 runs in the bottom of the 1st when Lindsay Whittles hit a 2 rbi single to drive in Katy Holly and Maille Bennett. Despite the low score, this game featured a runners interference call, a Heather Holly liner that hit Maille Bennett to end a potential rally and a wild ending.
On the top of the 7th, Dartmouth scored a run off an errant throw to 1st base but the Hillers quickly shut the Dartmouth momentum down with a 6-3-5 double play followed by a Heather Holly strikeout to end the game and claim the 2-1 victory.
