Records broken during Ashland Loss
-Nathan Sickles of Ashland scores 100th career goal during a 12-14 loss vs Holliston. Ashland is now 4 and 6 on the season, Holliston is 3 and 5.

College Sports

Softball: Norton Lancers Alumni, Kelly Nelson Sets Strikeout Record
-Norton Lancer alumni, Kelly Nelson set the single season strikeout record at Holy Cross. Holy Cross split a double header with Hartford, 2-1 in game 1, 1-0 in game 2. Nelson pitched game 2 striking out 16 and allowing just 1 hit and 1 run. Nelson recorded her 200th strikeout this season in the game 2 win. (Info Via: Holy Cross)

Boys Lacrosse: Hopkinton Hillers Alumni, Will Abbott named All-Rookie, All MAAC 1st team!
-Will Abbott continues dominating in Boys Lacrosse at Quinnipiac University. Abbott has contributed 17 goals and 14 assists during his rookie season and was named All-Rookie and All-MAAC First team.

Field Hockey: Norwood Alumni, Kacie Smith Earns Student-Athlete Award
-Kacie Smith (Sr) of Stonehill College earned the FR. William Gartland, CSC Female Student-Athlete Award.

Softball

Ashland Defeats Holliston 12 to 9
-Ashland improved to 3 and 4 on the season, Holliston fell to 1 and 6. During the win, Steph Moscaritolo pitched all 7 innings. Haley Tallman went 4 for 5 at the plate with 3 RBI’s and Nicole Abbatine and Gianna Abbatine each went 3 for 5 at the plate for Ashland.

Medway defeats Millis 14 to 4
-Cat Higgins pitched a complete game 4 hitter and struck out 10 for the Mustangs. She also went 5 for 5 at the plate with 4 runs and 3 Rbi’s. Other contributors for Medway included: Olivia Fink (3 Hits, 4 Rbi’s), Zoe Ratcliffe (2 Hits, 3 Rbi’s) and Melissa Faulkner (2 Hits, 2 Runs and 2 Rbi’s.) Girls Lacrosse

Medfield defeats Ashland 17 to 4
-Erin Seibel (SR) recorded her 200th goal for the Medfield Warriors during a 17 to 4 win over Ashland. Medfield is now 5 and 4 on the season, Ashland falls to 2 and 6.

Boys Tennis

Ashland defeats Holliston 3 to 2
-Jonathan Lee (JR) contributed a three set win for the Clockers. Other wins included Doubles wins by Andre Agostinelli and Sahil Muthuswami and 2nd doubles team of Colby Weiss and Ari Dinerman. Ashland is now 4 and 2 on the season, Holliston falls to 2 and 3.
