On February 14th on Holliston, the Dedham Marauders took home a 1st place finish in the D3 Central Sectionals with 215 points, Foxborough finished 2nd with 202.5 points. 11 Marauders placed in the sectionals including; Anthony Guzman (4th – 106 LBS), Anthony Sateriale (1st – 113 LBS), Daniel O’Brien (2nd – 190 LBS), Falco Heaslip (3rd – 165 LBS), John Kelly (4th – 215 LBS), Josiah Robinson (6th – 285 LBS), Manuel Garcia (1st – 138 LBS), Mason MacDonald (3rd – 126 LBS), Matthew Salas (3rd – 120 LBS), Rudolf Heaslip (4th – 144 LBS), Ryan Talon Kelly (2nd – 132 LBS).
On February 20th in Gloucester, the Dedham Marauders took home the Division 3 State Championship! Dedham finished 0.5 points above 2nd place Gloucester and 2.5 points above 3rd place Holliston to take the D3 State title.
Scoring for Dedham included: Anthony Sateriale who finished 1st at 113 LBS, Falco Heaslip who finished 7th at 165 LBS, Manuel Garcia who finished 2nd at 138 LBS, Matthew Salas who finished 6th at 120 LBS & Ryan Talon-Kelly who finished 3rd at 132 LBS.
In the All-State championship, 3 Dedham Marauders competed and 2 of them placed. Anthony Sateriale finished 7th place at 113 LBS & Ryan Talon-Kelly finished 3rd at 132 LBS.
