On January 5th, Medfield graduate and Girls Basketball Star, Kate Olenik reached 1,000 career points for Colby College as they took on MIT.
Colby went on to defeat M.I.T. 63-48. Olenik netted 17 points in the game! The win over M.I.T. was the start of a current 3-game winning streak for Colby, who stands at 9 and 4 on the season heading into their Wednesday, Jan 14th matchup at Husson University.
Kate now has over 1,000 career points for the Medfield Warriors and Colby College! Kate Olenik should finish her college career with well over 1,000 points since she is only a Junior! So far during the 25-26 season, Kate is averaging 15.8 points per a game.
