Video: Hopkinton Hillers Sports Update 10-18-2018

-On Tuesday (10/16) Hopkinton Hillers Field Hockey played the very 1st game on the new turf fields versus Westwood. Prior to the game, the Hillers celebrated Senior Night. This years seniors include: #5 Caroline Wauters, #10 Tess Papagni, #20 Kate Wilson and #21 Natalia Gomez Donate.

The game was a great battle between 2 very good TVL teams. Alyssa McIntyre scored the only Hillers goal late in the 2nd half and the game ended in a 1-1 draw. The playoff-bound Hillers improved to 8 Wins, 5 Losses and 2 Ties. Hopkinton clinched a playoff spot and has 18 points on the season.

-On Wednesday (10/17) Hopkinton Hillers Girls Soccer celebrated their senior night prior to a game versus Dover-Sherborn on the new turf fields. This years team features five Seniors: #12 Natalie Calkins, #15 Sydney MacDonald, #13 Gabrielle Weilding, #3 Corinne Messier and #11 Maya Zent.

The Hillers defense was excellent and they compiled 2 first half goals. Hopkinton defeated Dover-Sherborn 2-0. The playoff-bound Hillers improve to 8 wins, 3 losses and 4 ties on the season. The Lady Hillers have 20 points overall.

– The Middle School Girls soccer team won their game against Mendon/Upton yesterday 3-2. Arianna Schaefer and Kylie Skiba both had beautiful goals, while outstanding defense was played by Sophia Perrelli and Jordyn Ahlstrom-Hall. The girls play at away today in Ashland.
