-On Monday July 16th, Ashland Legion hosted Medford. It was a good pitching battle throughout. Bottom of the 6th it was a 1-1 game but Post 77 got some offense going and plated 2 runs. Owen Ward goes the complete game as Post 77 trots to a 3 to 1 victory and improved to 12 and 4.
-On Thursday July 19th, Ashland took on Sudbury Post 191. It was a 5-5 game heading to the bottom of the 6th when the Post 77 offense expoloded for 7 runs. In the top of the 7th, Louis Rossi made his first pitching appearance. Despite the inexperience, Rossi records 2 strikeouts and gets the job done. Post 77 wins their final regular season game over Sudbury 12-5 and improves to 14 and 4.
-On Sunday July 22nd, Post 77 defeated Natick 6 to 3 in the 1st round of the playoffs, which led to a match-up on Tuesday July 24th with Medford. It was 2-1 Medford leading into the bottom of the 3rd until Post 77 put together four runs. Ashland Post 77 captured the 6 to 4 victory.
-On Wednesday July 25th, Ashland took on Lowell in Lowell and fell 5 to 2 and then fell 5-4 in an elimination game against Lowell on Thursday July 26th. Ashland wraps up a very good 2018 season with 16 wins and 6 losses. View Highlights Below!
