Millis-Hopedale Football advanced to the Division 4A State Championship as they defeated Boston Latin Academy 31-0 in the Semi-Finals at Rocky Marciano Stadium in Brockton, MA. QB Bryce Latosek thew for a TD and 225 yards. WR PJ Adams lit up the Latin Academy defense with 5 receptions for 123 yards and 2 TD’s. On the first offensive play of the game, Millis started off with some trickery as Latosek threw a screen to his right to WR Brian Espanet who hucked it down field to PJ Adams at the 25 and he took it to the end-zone for a 51 yard touchdown.
The 9-2 Millis-Hopedale Mohawks will play at Worcester State University on Super Saturday (12/3) at Noon. Millis-Hopedale will meet up with winner of Maynard/Turner Falls.
