On Saturday March 9th at Worcester State University, 3rd seeded, Millis Girls Basketball defeated Sutton 59-31 to claim the Central Division 3 sectional title. Millis improved to 24 and 1 overall with the win. In their road to the semi’s, they defeated #14 David Prouty 60-24, #6 Northbridge 53-36, #2 Millbury 40-31 and #4 Sutton 59-31.
In the game, Abby Clark netted 15 points and Abby Miller put up 12 points for the Lady Mohawks.
The Millis girls will take on West Champion, Hoosac in the state semi-finals at American International College, 5:30pm Tuesday March 12th.
