1st Seeded, Dover-Sherborn Boys Tennis remains undefeated at 20 and 0 overall. The Raiders defeated Dennis-Yarmouth, Norwell and Cohasset 5-0 in the first 3 rounds followed by a 4-1 victory over Old Rochester in the South D3 Championship. In the D3 state semi-finals, the Raiders knocked off North Champion, Weston 3-2 to earn a spot in the D3 championship. Dover-Sherborn will battle Central champion, Whitinsville Christian for the championship at St. Johns High School, Thursday (June 16th) at 2:30pm.
Whitsville Christian was the 5th seed out of 8 teams in the Central D3 playoffs. WC knocked off 4th seeded, Auburn in the first round 4-1, 1st seeded, Quaboag 4-1 in the Semi-Finals and 2nd seeded Hopedale 3-2 in the finals. Whitinsville Christian stands at 16-4 overall.
