On Tuesday, February 6th 12 and 2 Hopkinton and 11 and 3 Medfield Boys Basketball tip off at 6:30pm at Hopkinton HS Athletic Center. In their last meeting, Medfield hung on for a 64-62 win over Hopkinton.
Hopkinton’s only losses of the season were to Milford and Medfield back on December 19th and 22nd, Hopkinton has since won 10 straight games and is at the Top of the TVL standings. Medfield has won 9 of their last 10 games. The only losses of the season for the Warriors were 2 from Westwood and a loss to Dover-Sherborn. 15 and 2 Westwood is also very much in the running for the TVL Large title.
Hopkinton has tallied up the most offense in the league, averaging a whopping 69 points per game while giving up 54 PPG on average. Medfield averages 56 PPG and gives up 56 PPG on average. Hopkinton has won 3 of their last 5 meetings with Medfield.
In Hopkinton’s last Game at home vs Ashland, the Hillers took the win 72 to 50. Sam Pantera netted 22 points, Sam Dadagian dropped 19 points. In Friday’s 73-60 road-win over Norwood, Sam Dadagian dropped 21 points and Jack Ianelli had 16 points.
Medfield’s last game was a 54-49 win vs Holiston, Thomas Behrman dropped 15 points while Rowan Tracery added 10 points. Aiden Deaily kept Holliston in the game dropping 33 points for the Panthers.
