If I could pick college & pro games like I picked TVL games in Week 1, I could’ve retired already. Six of the eight picks were correct. The only two incorrect ones were Medway & Westwood. Came within a point of getting the Hopkinton/Wayland score correct (17-14 predicted, 18-14 was the final), if you the readers can actually believe that. Some tremendous games on tap here in Week 2.

Both schools are coming off of tough season opening losses. Westwood fell to Pembroke 33-14 while Norwood was blanked by Framingham, 22-0. Westwood evens their record at 1-1 with a win
Prediction: Westwood 34-7

Dedham (0-1) @ Bishop Fenwick (0-1)
Last year: Bishop Fenwick, 14-6
Both schools suffered setbacks in Week 1 as Dedham lost to Medfield 34-14 and Bishop Fenwick was blanked by Hamilton-Wenham by a 21-0 tally. This will be a close game but Bishop Fenwick prevails in the end.
Prediction: Bishop Fenwick 14-12

Holliston (1-0) @ Lincoln-Sudbury (1-0)
Last year: Holliston, 30-20
Both squads started the 2017 season with resounding 24-7 wins as Holliston scored a win over longtime rival Millis and Lincoln-Sudbury beat Dighton-Rehoboth. This will be an excellent match-up and in the end, an excellent win for Holliston
Prediction: Holliston 28-27

Hopkinton (1-0) VS Medway (0-1)
Last year: Hopkinton, 26-11
Hopkinton started their 2017 season with an 18-14 win over Wayland while Medway fell to Norton, 27-19. Medway looks improved but the Hillers get the W here.
Prediction: Hopkinton 21-9

Ashland (1-0) VS Medfield (1-0)
Last year: Medfield, 14-7
Ashland kicked off their 2017 campaign with a 34-0 blowout win over Seekonk while Medfield topped Dedham, 34-14. Two impressive Week 1 wins for these squads. Ashland avenges last year’s loss and moves to 2-0.
Prediction: Ashland 23-16

Last year: Didn’t meet
Norton scored a 27-19 win over Medway while Millis fell to Holliston by a 24-7 final. Millis rebounds in Week 2 & both teams will be 1-1.
Prediction: Millis 21-13

Bellingham (1-0) VS Bishop Stang (0-1) (Sat 6pm)
Last year: Bellingham, 32-20
Bellingham started off the year strong with a 20-18 win over Blackstone Millville while Bishop Stang was blanked by Nantucket, 41-0. The Blackhawks improve to 2-0 with a big win.
Prediction: Bellingham 37-13

Dover-Sherborn (1-0) @ Nipmuc (1-0) (Sat 1pm)
Last year: Dover-Sherborn, 14-13
Both schools started strong in 2017 as Dover-Sherborn beat Weston 34-6 and Nipmuc blasted Burncoat, 48-12. Dover-Sherborn escaped with a one point win over Nipmuc last year, but they’ll have no such luck this time. Besides, I can’t pick against my alma mater.
Prediction: Nipmuc 21-18
